...Not really sure if this is going in the right category.
So, I took this a couple Saturdays ago. The model is the awesome ~Erulisse  .I wanted to convey a sense of...being younger or beleaguered for one reason or another. A childlike sense, and a wistful gaze into the sky. My thoughts on this were, "If there was no heaven, the world would be peaceful..." but, that's just me. It reminds me of the song Imagine by A Perfect Circle. The outfit she wears is a juxtaposition with her expression. She wears stripes and spikes and sports piercings in her nose and lip but is insightful and childish. At least, the girl in the photo is. I'm not talking about my model *laugh* I did photoshop this, but not for any special effect. For inspiration I thought of the stripes you get on a television that isn't quite working properly. And I wanted a slight lilac tint...but that's it. You'll probably see more of ~Erulisse. She loves modelling *laugh* Concrit appreciated! |

I can't really claim too much to do with the colours and lines, etc, because they're all photoshopped. I don't get what people have against photoshopping pictures? I think Photoshop's a powerful medium and it just adds to pictures, instead of taking away from them? Eh, rant.

I think art is about creating an image in its own right. Even if it's mostly photoshopped, it's still art.
